Puberty, Reproduction & Respectful Relationships

All year levels |Parent/Carer and Family Forums

Puberty Education helps children to know about the changes that puberty causes before they occur, giving them insight as to what to expect.

Our staff have decades of experience helping schools, students and families address these sensitive topics in a way that removes anxiety and awkwardness about this important stage of development and relationships.

At The Workshop, we firmly believe that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to understanding puberty, reproduction, and respectful relationships. Our comprehensive programs are designed to equip students with the information and skills they need to navigate these critical aspects of their development confidently and respectfully.

Program Overview

  • Our Puberty, Reproduction & Respectful Relationships program offers tailored content for students across all year levels, ensuring age-appropriate and engaging learning experiences. We also provide Parent/Carer and Family Forums to foster open communication within families.

    Program Highlights

  • Whole School Respectful Relationships Program: We deliver age-appropriate information to both primary and secondary students, promoting a culture of respect and understanding throughout the school community.

  • Puberty & Reproduction Lessons (Grades 4–6): Our lessons can be conducted in single or mixed-gender groups, providing a safe space for students to learn and ask questions. Additionally, our Family Forum encourages open dialogue between students and their parents or carers, facilitating these important conversations in a supportive environment.

  • Comprehensive Secondary School Program: For the more challenging years in secondary school, we offer a four-lesson program focusing on consent, gender, safety, and respect, providing students with the tools they need to navigate complex social dynamics.

Why Choose Our Program?

Our team brings decades of experience in assisting schools, students, and families to address these sensitive topics. We aim to alleviate anxiety and awkwardness, making the journey through puberty and the development of respectful relationships a positive and empowering experience.

By participating in our programs, students gain valuable insights into the changes that occur during puberty before they happen, allowing them to know what to expect and approach these changes with confidence. We believe that when it comes to learning about puberty, reproduction, and body changes, knowledge is power.
