Program Overview 

Trailblazers is an engaging and interactive resilience program designed for students to help them navigate challenges, build confidence, and strengthen social connections. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and reflection, students develop essential skills in emotional regulation, problem-solving, and positive communication. Aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, Trailblazers empowers young learners to approach setbacks with a growth mindset and prepares them for a successful transition into secondary school.

Understanding Resilience

  • Explore what resilience means and why it is important in everyday life and identify real-life examples of resilience in school, sports, friendships, and family.

  • Learn how setbacks can be opportunities for growth and learning.

Emotional Regulation

  • Recognise different emotions and understand their impact on thoughts and actions.

  • Develop strategies such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, and positive self-talk to manage stress and frustration.
